Our firm maintains an extensive farm real estate practice. We regularly handle agricultural closings, including like-kind exchanges under IRC Code Section 1031, and we remain knowledgeable about the local farm real estate market. We represent some of the County's largest farmers, handling many aspects of agricultural law from the initial acquisition of a farm, to farm leases, to transactions involving farms and farming operations, and succession planning for our farm clients. Agriculture is a large part of the economy in our area, and the numerous farm-related transactions that we handle make us well aware of the unique issues facing those involved in the agricultural community, including:

• Environmental issues
• Installment purchase and sales
• Leasing
• Section 1031 Exchanges
• Succession planning
• Survey issues
• Title Insurance issues
