Kevin E. Buick
Kevin E. Buick was born in Merced, California,
but grew up in Illinois and Colorado, graduating from the University of
Colorado, Boulder in 1987 and from Northern Illinois University’s College of Law
in 1990. He joined the firm in 1989 as a law clerk, becoming an associate
attorney upon graduation from law school in 1990 and assuming responsibility as
a partner in 1994. His practice is a general one with emphasis in Municipal Law, Zoning,
Real Estate, Banking and Commercial Law, Corporate and Business Planning,
Estate Planning and Administration. Since 1996 he has represented numerous municipal
entities, including the Villages of Kingston, Waterman, and
Malta. He has also represented townships, fire protection districts, drainage
districts and the City of Sycamore’s Plan Commission. Additionally, he has
served as a Zoning Hearing officer for DeKalb County since 2002.
